What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?
Supporting the preparation of management reports and analysing business performance to inform decision-making
Assisting in period-end activities, including reconciliations and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance
Developing and maintaining reporting dashboards and tools using Excel and Power BI to deliver actionable insights
Conducting data analysis on sales, margins, stock levels, and operational metrics, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
Collaborating with teams across the organisation to provide meaningful financial information and supporting continuous process improvements
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accopuntant vacancy:
Strong skills in Excel, including Pivot Tables and formula modelling, with a good grasp of financial data analysis
Experience working with business systems and a good understanding of financial or operational reporting
Analytical mindset with an eye for detail and the ability to explain complex data clearly
Proven organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
An interest in business performance, operational metrics, and process improvements
