Groundworks, RC Frame & Civils | London | Freelance or Permanent or Part-time
I'm working with a growing specialist contractor looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support their groundworks, concrete frame and civil engineering projects across London.
With projects valued up to £6m, they're flexible on the type of person they bring in – permanent, freelance Ltd Co. and even part-time arrangements can be considered for the right individual.
The Role
Commercial management of groundworks, RC frame and civils packages
Procurement and subcontractor management
Valuations, variations and applications for payment
Cost reporting, forecasting and commercial control
Managing projects through to final account
Working closely with the Commercial Director and operational teams
What they're looking for
Quantity Surveyor with groundworks, concrete frame or civils experience
Specialist subcontractor experience advantageous
Strong understanding of valuations, variations and cost control
Commercially sharp and comfortable taking ownership
QS through to Senior QS level considered
