How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are looking for an experienced Product Delivery Manager - Structural Systems Digital Engineering to lead the development and delivery of digital engineering capabilities supporting advanced aircraft structural design and analysis.

You will shape the digital toolchains, architectures, and lifecycle environments that underpin 3D CAD, Model-Based Definition (MBD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), composite and metallic structures, joints and fasteners, structural testing, and certification.

    Key Responsibilities

Own the delivery and continuous improvement of Structural Systems digital engineering capabilities.
Develop product roadmaps, delivery plans, and prioritised backlogs aligned with engineering and programme requirements.
Support and optimise digital environments for CAD/MBD, FEA, structural analysis, composites, metallic structures, joints, fasteners, loads, and mass properties.
Enable integration with the wider Digital Thread, ensuring data continuity from requirements and design through analysis, test, and evidence.
Establish technical baselines, reference architectures, methodologies, and work instructions.
Promote best practice in model-based engineering, structural analysis, verification, and evidence generation.
Ensure solutions meet agreed quality, performance, security, compliance, and airworthiness requirements.
Lead upgrades, enhancements, and lifecycle management of digital engineering platforms with minimal disruption to users.
Capture, challenge, and consolidate requirements across engineering teams and partners.
Drive adoption of new tools, processes, and frameworks through effective stakeholder engagement, training, and change management.
Establish appropriate data models, metadata, naming conventions, and access controls for engineering information.
Coordinate delivery across internal teams, suppliers, and system integrators.
Monitor service performance, risks, capacity, technical debt, and dependencies.
Drive incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Support vendor relationships, contract management, licence optimisation, and technology evaluations.
Identify opportunities for innovation in automation, topology optimisation, multiscale modelling, co-simulation, model calibration, and evidence generation.

    Skills & Experience

Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
Experience delivering digital engineering capabilities across structural systems.
Experience within the Aerospace and/or Defence industry, with an understanding of regulated and safety-critical environments.
Strong knowledge of structural engineering toolchains including 3D CAD/MBD, FEA, stress analysis, stiffness and strength, buckling, fatigue, and damage tolerance.
Experience with metallic and/or composite structures, joints, fasteners, and structural test correlation.
Strong understanding of Model-Based Engineering and Digital Thread principles.
Proven experience managing complex technical delivery involving multiple stakeholders, suppliers, and distributed teams.
Strong project, programme, or service management experience. ITIL, APM, or PRINCE2 qualifications are advantageous.
Experience with SAFe or Agile delivery methodologies.
Understanding of structural airworthiness and certification, including strength, stiffness, stability, fatigue, damage tolerance, and durability.
Experience managing suppliers and technology partners supporting CAD/MBD, FEA, composite analysis, materials databases, or test-data platforms.
Knowledge of topology optimisation, progressive damage modelling, multiscale material modelling, and structural joining/fastening analysis.
Experience delivering digital transformation and business change across engineering organisations.
Experience working with secure, collaborative environments supporting distributed engineering teams.
