How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a key role focused on production flow, schedule adherence, work order management and cross-functional coordination across Operations, Materials, Quality and Supply Chain teams.

    Key Responsibilities

Create and manage detailed 1-2 week production schedules aligned to the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Release work orders and ensure material, documentation and resource readiness.
Monitor production performance, managing bottlenecks, constraints and recovery plans.
Re-prioritise and re-sequence work orders to maintain delivery commitments.
Coordinate with Procurement, Stores and Quality to resolve material shortages and WIP issues.
Support recovery of past-due orders through expediting and proactive planning.
Track schedule adherence and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain ERP/MRP data integrity, planning parameters and production master data.
Provide regular updates on production risks, capacity constraints and recovery actions.

    About You

Experience in Production Scheduling, Production Control, Planning or Shop Floor Coordination within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and production planning processes.
Ability to analyse data, manage changing priorities and solve operational challenges.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple functions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Aerospace, engineering, automotive, defence or other complex manufacturing experience would be advantageous.

    What's on Offer

Opportunity to play a key role within a major manufacturing transformation programme.
Exposure to advanced production and operational planning environments.
Collaborative, high-performance culture within a globally recognised engineering business.
    Competitive salary and benefits package
