How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Data Analyst

    Location: Dunstable (2 days per week onsite)
    Duration: 3 Month Contract
    Start Date: ASAP
    Rate: £478 per day Inside IR35

    Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a business-critical Martech transformation project. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing, reconciling, and consolidating large-scale customer data sets across multiple systems to support the migration into a new marketing technology environment.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and technically strong analyst who enjoys solving complex data challenges and working with large volumes of customer data.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of customer data across multiple source systems.
    Work with large-scale datasets (40M+ records) to identify discrepancies, data quality issues, and opportunities for consolidation.
    Support the creation of a single, accurate, and trusted customer dataset for migration into a new Martech platform.
    Develop and execute complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, validate, and reconcile data.
    Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand data structures, mappings, and migration requirements.
    Conduct data validation and quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
    Produce clear analysis, documentation, and recommendations to support decision-making.
    Support ongoing improvements to data processes and methodologies.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    Strong commercial experience as a Data Analyst.
    Advanced SQL skills with the ability to work on complex data analysis and reconciliation tasks.
    Hands-on experience with Databricks.
    Experience working with modern cloud-based databases and data platforms.
    Proven track record of analysing and managing large and complex datasets.
    Strong data quality, validation, and reconciliation experience.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Desirable Skills & Experience

    Experience working on Martech, CRM, Customer Data Platform (CDP), or customer data migration projects.
    Understanding of customer data management and customer journeys.
    Experience within customer-focused or consumer-facing environments.
    Exposure to data migration and transformation programmes
