How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you an experienced IFA Administrator looking for your next opportunity? Join a dynamic and expanding independent financial planning firm where your administrative expertise will directly support client outcomes and business growth.

As an IFA Administrator, you'll be the backbone of operations, managing the full administrative lifecycle of client cases. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include completing applications and letters of authority, liaising with product providers, and ensuring timely progression of cases. You'll need to use initiative when chasing providers for information and resolving issues that arise during the application process.

This IFA Administrator position offers genuine flexibility – you'll work primarily from home with occasional travel to London for team meetings (approximately once monthly). As the firm continues to grow, there may be future opportunities to work from a physical office providing even more collaboration opportunities.

    What makes this role different?
    • Small, tight-knit team environment where your contribution genuinely matters
    • Professional qualifications reimbursement programme – pass your exams and receive reimbursement plus a pay increase
    • Development opportunities based on your strengths and interests
    • Work directly with experienced advisers who value administrative excellence

    IFA Administrator Requirements
    • Previous office administration experience (essential)
    • Financial services background (essential)
    • Confident communicating with product providers
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
    • Self-motivated to work effectively remotely

    The Company
This independent financial planning firm is experiencing strong growth. Operating as part of a reputable network, they pride themselves on delivering quality advice and building a supportive team culture. They're looking for an IFA Administrator who wants to grow with them.

    IFA Administrator Benefits
    • Salary: circa £30,000
    • Pension: 4% employer / 4% employee contribution
    • 25 days holiday plus option to purchase up to 10 additional days
    • Primarily remote working
    • Professional qualifications support scheme

    Location
Remote-based, with reasonable proximity to London for occasional team meetings.

Ready to take the next step? Apply now to join this growing firm as their IFA Administrator and make a real impact from day one.
