How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Chef de Partie - Events Venue

    Location: London
    Start Date: September 2026
    Salary: £35,000 per annum
    Hours: 40 hours per week
    Days: Predominantly weekends off, with occasional evening work

    The Role:

    We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a prestigious events venue in London.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys working in a professional, high-quality environment while offering an excellent work-life balance.

    The successful candidate will have a strong background in hotel and events catering, alongside proven fine dining experience and a genuine passion for delivering consistently high standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Working as part of a professional kitchen team delivering high-quality food for events and functions.
    - Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard.
    - Supporting different sections of the kitchen as required.
    - Maintaining excellent food quality, presentation and hygiene standards.
    - Working efficiently during busy events and services.
    - Supporting the Sous Chefs and wider kitchen team.
    - Ensuring all preparation is completed to the required standard and within agreed timeframes.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    - Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a hotel, events venue or high-end restaurant.
    - Fine dining experience is essential.
    - Strong events and banqueting experience is highly desirable.
    - Excellent technical and organisational skills.
    - Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
    - Passionate about food and maintaining high standards.
    - A positive team player with a professional attitude.
    - Flexible to work occasional evenings when required.
