The Role
We are looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Polisher Prepper to join the Paint Shop of a well-established automotive manufacturer in Coventry.
You will be responsible for preparing, spraying and polishing components to a high-quality finish, working to paint data sheets, quality standards and production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, prime and spray automotive components to specification.
Mix paints accurately using technical data sheets.
Carry out polishing and rectify defects to achieve a high-quality finish.
Use a range of hand and power tools, spray guns and polishing equipment.
Inspect finished components and report any quality or equipment issues.
Maintain and clean spray guns, booths and polishing equipment.
Follow COSHH, PPE, Health & Safety and paint shop procedures.
Keep the work area clean, organised and production ready.
What We're Looking For
Previous automotive paint spraying experience is essential.
Experience in vehicle/component polishing and paint correction.
Confident using hand and power tools.
Able to read paint data sheets and accurately mix paint.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
Comfortable working to production deadlines.
Good understanding of COSHH, PPE and Health & Safety.
