PK Education are looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor to work within secondary schools across Sheffield from September.
This role is suited to someone who is confident walking into an unfamiliar classroom, taking control of a group and ensuring the work set by the absent teacher is completed. You'll work across different subjects and year groups, so flexibility is important.
Unlike a permanent school-based position, this is full-time supply, giving you the opportunity to work across different schools while building up further secondary classroom experience.
The role includes:
Covering lessons across KS3 and KS4
Delivering pre-set work
Managing behaviour and keeping students on task
Supporting students with the work provided
Providing feedback to the relevant teaching staff
We're looking for:
Previous secondary school or Cover Supervisor experience
Confidence managing a classroom independently
Strong behaviour management
Reliable and adaptable approach
Someone available for full-time supply work
