We are currently recruiting for a Works Delivery & Commercial Estimator to join a growing facilities management business based in Greater Manchester.
This is a key role supporting the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works across a multi-trade environment.
You will combine estimating, procurement, supplier management and stock control, ensuring engineers have the materials they need while keeping costs competitive and quotations accurate.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate internal quotations, estimates and costings for maintenance and FM works.
Source materials and services from approved suppliers, securing competitive pricing and lead times.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and monitor pricing, availability and product information.
Coordinate material requirements for planned and reactive works.
Track orders, deliveries and returns to minimise delays and unnecessary costs.
Manage internal stores and monitor stock levels, usage and replenishment.
Maintain accurate records of supplier pricing, orders, quotations and stock.
Support cost reporting and provide accurate commercial information to internal teams.
Ensure procurement activity follows agreed processes and commercial requirements.
Maintain clear audit trails and contribute to improving procurement and works delivery processes.
Work closely with engineers, suppliers, finance and operational teams to ensure smooth delivery of works. About You
Experience within facilities management, maintenance, engineering or a similar environment.
Previous experience producing estimates, quotations or costings for maintenance or works.
Understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
Knowledge of a multi-trade environment, such as M&E, electrical, plumbing or building/fabric maintenance.
Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicating with suppliers, engineers and internal stakeholders.
Comfortable using procurement, job management or CAFM systems. Desirable
Experience with stock control or internal stores management.
Knowledge of commercial FM contracts and pricing structures.
Experience working alongside in-house engineering teams.
