How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Hybrid Working (Commutable from: Ipswich, Cambridge, London, Southend-on-Sea, Colchester, Norwich, Peterborough & Surrounding Areas)

Are you a Project Planner from a Marine, Infrastructure or Civils background, looking for a highly autonomous group-level position where you can take ownership of multiple complex programmes and have a genuine influence on how projects are planned and delivered?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and growing organisation where you'll gain exposure across a diverse portfolio of specialist projects, working closely with senior management whilst playing a key role in developing and improving planning processes across the wider group.

This established organisation operates across the marine, specialist infrastructure and civils sectors and is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth. As part of their continued expansion, they are investing heavily in their operational capabilities and are now looking to introduce a dedicated Group Project Planner to strengthen programme visibility, resource planning and project controls.

In this highly varied role, you'll oversee multiple live and tender-stage projects, developing and maintaining NEC4 programmes, coordinating resources and identifying programme risks. You'll have significant autonomy to manage your own diary, combining hybrid working with site travel, alongside excellent long-term progression and professional development opportunities.

This role suits a Project Planner from a Marine, Infrastructure or Civils background looking for a senior, autonomous position where you can work across technically challenging projects, influence Group-wide planning strategy and progress within a rapidly growing organisation.

    The Role:

Oversee multiple live and tender-stage projects, developing and maintaining NEC4 programmes
Manage resources, critical paths, programme risks, tender and recovery planning
Hybrid working with autonomy over your diary and site travel
    The Person:

Strong project planning experience within Marine, Infrastructure or Civils
NEC4 knowledge with experience managing multiple programmes
Wanting autonomy over technically challenging projects
