Are you an experienced Multi-Trade Operative with strong plastering skills and a passion for delivering quality repairs? We're looking for a reliable and versatile tradesperson to join our team maintaining and repairing (MOD) properties across Colchester.

The Role
As a Multi-Trade Operative, you'll be responsible for carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of occupied properties.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out plastering repairs to a high standard (NVQ Level 2 required)
* Undertake plumbing repairs and minor installations
* Complete carpentry repairs and basic joinery works
* Perform a variety of general property maintenance tasks
* Diagnose faults and provide effective, long-lasting repairs
* Work independently and as part of a wider team
* Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and customer service standards
* Use PDA/mobile technology to manage and complete jobs accurately
What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience
(NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
Experience working within occupied or tenanted properties
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Confident using PDA/mobile job management systems
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
No more than 6 penalty points
Asbestos Awareness Certificate
DBS check (or willingness to undergo) and will require SC clearance
Eligible to work in the UK
Able to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
Professional and customer-focused approach
Desirable
* Plumbing experience
* Carpentry and joinery skills
* CSCS Card (training can be provided if required)
* City & Guilds Level 2 qualification
