We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our team, working for a busy plumbing merchant based in Basingstoke.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering plumbing and heating supplies to customers across the local area. This is a multi-drop delivery role, so you’ll need to be comfortable making multiple deliveries throughout the day while providing a professional and friendly service.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-drop delivery of plumbing and heating products
Loading and unloading the van safely
Completing deliveries on time and to the correct locations
Dealing professionally with customers
Checking delivery paperwork
Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy
Following all road safety and company procedures
Requirements
Full UK driving licence
Previous van driving experience preferred
Multi-drop experience is an advantage
Good knowledge of the local area
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Good customer service skills
Physically fit, as some lifting and handling of plumbing materials is required
