How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Ecommerce Executive

    Salary: £25,000-£32,000
    Contract: Fixed-term contract, up to 3 months
    Location: Brighton

    We're looking for an Ecommerce Executive to join a growing digital team on a short-term basis. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the website and app, with a strong focus on trading, customer experience and digital optimisation.

    What you'll be doing...

    Manage and maintain website and app content, ensuring everything is accurate, up to date and commercially effective.

    Coordinate product launches, seasonal campaigns and promotions across digital channels.

    Manage digital assets, copy and technical set-up to ensure campaigns launch smoothly.

    Optimise onsite merchandising, search and navigation to improve the customer journey.

    Work closely with CRM and Marketing teams to support personalised experiences and campaign activity.

    Create and update landing pages to support key campaigns and drive conversion.

    Monitor website performance and work with developers or external partners to resolve technical issues.

    Track ecommerce metrics including conversion, revenue, AOV, bounce rate and basket abandonment.

    Use trading and customer data to identify opportunities for improvement.

    Monitor ecommerce trends, competitor activity and platform developments.

    We'd love to hear from you if you...

    Have experience working within ecommerce, digital trading or website management.

    Have strong attention to detail and enjoy improving the customer experience.

    Are organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

    Understand the key factors that influence online conversion and sales.

    Have experience using an ecommerce platform; Shopify experience would be beneficial.

    Are comfortable working with data and using insights to inform decisions.

    Enjoy problem-solving and finding practical solutions.

    Work well with Marketing, CRM, Creative and Development teams.

    Can hit the ground running and make an immediate contribution within a fast-paced environment
