How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Architect
    Manchester – Up to £50,000 

    Aztrum is excited to be partnering with a vibrant, design-focused architectural practice delivering innovative and high-quality projects across the education sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Architect to join a growing team working on specialist SEND school projects, taking ownership of exciting projects while having clear opportunities for progression and development throughout the company.

    The role of an Architect:

    Working closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to develop thoughtful and innovative designs for SEND education projects

    Taking projects through various stages from initial concept and planning through to technical design and delivery

    Producing high-quality concept designs, presentations, technical drawings, and project documentation

    Developing designs that respond to the specific needs of SEND environments, users, and communities

    Advising on materials, spatial strategies, construction methods, and design solutions

    Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

    Attending site visits and supporting the successful delivery of projects

    Contributing to the continued growth and development of the practice

    Key Requirements of an Architect:

    ARB/RIBA qualified or working towards qualification

    Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills are essential; BIM experience is highly advantageous

    Good understanding of UK planning policy, Building Regulations, and construction methods

    Previous experience within the education sector would be advantageous, particularly SEND projects

    A strong design-led approach with excellent attention to detail

    Confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project teams

    A proactive and ambitious approach, with a desire to progress within a growing practice
