How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you qualifying as a Primary Teacher this summer and looking to begin your career in Key Stage 1?

Vision for Education is recruiting enthusiastic Early Career Teachers to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools across South Liverpool from September 2026.

Whether you're looking for the flexibility of supply teaching, want to build your confidence across Year 1 and Year 2, or are hoping to secure a long-term role where you can complete your ECT induction, we have a range of opportunities available.

We work closely with primary schools across South Liverpool, many of which have an excellent track record of supporting newly qualified teachers through their first years in the profession.

    The role

Teaching within Key Stage 1, primarily across Year 1 and Year 2.

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Supporting pupils with early reading, phonics, writing and maths.

Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.

Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.

Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders.

Opportunities available on both a full-time and part-time basis.

    About you

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or expected to gain QTS by Summer 2026.

A genuine passion for teaching within Key Stage 1.

A good understanding of phonics and early learning development.

Confident communication, organisation and classroom management skills.

Flexible, reliable and committed to providing an excellent learning experience.

Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

    What you'll receive

    Competitive weekly PAYE pay.

Guaranteed Pay Scheme (subject to qualifying criteria).

Free access to high-quality CPD and safeguarding training.

    Employer pension contributions.

Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

Access to a wide range of primary schools across South Liverpool and surrounding areas.

    Supply, long-term and permanent opportunities.

    Refer a Friend bonus scheme.

Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.
