How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you a commercially minded professional with experience supporting bids, tenders or proposals and looking to take the next step in your career?

We're working with a growing organisation who are looking for a Bid Coordinator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has gained exposure to the bid and tender process through a sales, marketing, account management or commercial role and is now looking to move into a dedicated bid-focused position.

    Description of the role:

Coordinating responses to bids, tenders, RFQs and proposals
Managing bid timelines, deadlines and submission requirements
Working closely with sales, marketing, commercial and operational teams to gather relevant information
Editing and formatting bid content and supporting documentation
Ensuring responses are tailored to the client's requirements
Maintaining a library of bid content, case studies, credentials and supporting information
Reviewing submissions for accuracy, consistency and compliance
Supporting the wider sales and commercial team with proposals
Identifying opportunities to continually improve the bid process and quality of submissions

    About you:

We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in sales, marketing, account management, commercial or business development environments where bids and tenders have formed part of their role.

Previous experience of bids, tenders, proposals or formal sales submissions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Excellent attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
Confidence communicating with stakeholders across different departments
Strong organisational and project coordination skills
Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office

If you're currently working in sales, marketing, account management or a similar commercial role and have hands-on experience with bids and tenders, we'd love to hear from you
