Product Development Engineer

Our client BAE Systems, a prominent name in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role, based in Glascoed, offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment contributing to the advancement of sophisticated defence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and engineering new products in line with client requirements
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications are met
Utilising a range of engineering principles to design and improve products
Conducting product testing and validation to ensure performance and safety standards
Preparing detailed technical documentation and reports
Providing engineering support throughout the product lifecycle
Adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Ensuring continuous improvement and innovation in product development processes

Job Requirements:

Experience in product development
Strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies
Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting
