We're working with a long-standing, family-run horticultural business looking to appoint a Production Lead Grower to support their Nursery Operations Manager across propagation, potting and crop production.

What's the job?

You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading teams, maintaining plant quality, and ensuring production stays on track.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading propagation and potting teams
Managing plant health, irrigation and crop quality
Planning production schedules and stock requirements
Running daily team briefings
Overseeing potting machinery setup and troubleshooting
Supporting pest and disease management programmes
Driving high standards across the nursery

What do I need?

Commercial growing experience within horticulture
Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
Strong plant health and irrigation knowledge
PA1/PA6 spraying certificates
Good organisational and planning skills
Practical machinery and problem-solving ability
A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
