How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Service Transition Manager - NPPV3 & SC Cleared

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Service Transition Manager to join a complex government digital programme.

You'll work closely with multidisciplinary technical and operational teams, ensuring services are successfully transitioned from development through operational readiness, go-live and into BAU.

This role requires a strong Service Transition background combined with enough technical understanding to operate confidently within a modern cloud-based environment.

    Key Responsibilities

Own and coordinate end-to-end Service Transition activities.
Lead services through operational readiness, go-live, Early Life Support and BAU handover.
Define and embed effective ITIL service management processes.
Coordinate activities across Engineering, DevOps, SRE, QAT, Delivery and Operations teams.

    Essential Experience

    Active NPPV3 and SC Clearance.
Strong, recent Service Transition Management experience.
Experience leading services through development, operational readiness, go-live and BAU.
Experience transitioning complex cloud-hosted services, ideally within AWS.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes including Change, Release, SACM, Knowledge Management, Service Validation and Continual Service Improvement.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including DevOps, SRE, Engineering, QAT and Operations.
Good technical understanding of microservices, APIs, integrations and event-driven architectures.
Understanding of CI/CD, monitoring, resilience, security and live-service support.
Experience managing service acceptance, transition risks and operational readiness.
Strong stakeholder management with the ability to drive actions and decisions.

    Desirable

Experience within policing, national security or another secure government environment.
Experience working on large-scale government digital programmes.
AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, SysOps or DevOps.
Experience transitioning high-profile or operationally critical services
