Please be aware you MUST have experience to be considered for this role.
You will be responsible for:
* Reading, interpreting and understanding of drawings and specification documentation
* Working with materials such as titanium and stainless steel.
* Working with sheet metal 0.7mm - 1.6mm
* Assembly
* Completing visual inspections
* Working to tight tolerances
* Maintaining a clean and saft working environment.
You must have experience with:
* Shaping metal over blocks using hammers
* Use of Hand tools
* Inspecting, assembling and smoothing seams and welding joints
* Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Qualifications:
* Apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work - City & Guilds Certification
* Advanced Certificate in Fabrication Studies or Level 3 Qualified in Welding & Fabrication
* Leadership, training and coaching skills
Hours of work:
07:00 - 15:30 Monday - Thursday, 12:00 Friday.
Potentially moving to an AM / PM shift rotation.
AM - Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am to 1:00 pm
PM - Monday to Thursday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Salary description
£33000.00 - £36000.00 per year
