Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in the Tendring area from September 2026.

The role includes:

Providing tailored support for pupils with a variety of SEND.

Working one-to-one and with small intervention groups.

Supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing and learning.

Encouraging positive behaviour and independence.

Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience supporting children with SEND, either in education or a related setting.

Be calm, patient and adaptable.

Have excellent communication skills.

Be committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
