We are looking for a driven and commercially focused professional with a strong background in managing high-value mechanical projects from initial planning through to successful completion. The successful candidate will take ownership of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical projects from inception through to completion.
* Take responsibility for project planning, scheduling, budgets and overall delivery.
* Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and other key stakeholders.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure projects remain on programme and specification.
* Ensure all works comply with relevant health and safety requirements, quality standards and project specifications.
* Prepare and present clear project updates, progress reports and performance information.
* Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
* Monitor project costs and maintain strong commercial control throughout delivery.
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
* Provide strong leadership and support to project teams, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and successfully.

Qualifications & Requirements
* SSSTS certification is essential.
* Higher education qualification in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.
* Proven experience in mechanical project management.
* Strong understanding of project delivery, health and safety and commercial management.
