How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Manpower are currently seeking an interim CMI Manager, to work with our global FMCG client, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

    The position is based at Blackfriars on London's Victoria Embankment, just a short walk from Blackfriars tube. This is a full-time temporary role to run until December 2027, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £65,000 per annum, depending upon experience.

    The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

    Job Summary

    This role sits within the Media & Content Insights team and is responsible for shaping the global learning agenda for social-first media and content. The CMI Manager will maintain media-measurement frameworks, generate actionable insights and work across global teams, agencies and media platforms to establish and embed best practice.

    The Role

    The CMI Manager will partner closely with Global Media, Business Group teams and external organisations including Meta, Amazon. The role will develop the insights, learning agendas and media-measurement capabilities required to create effective brand experiences across social media, retailer media and content.

    Working across a small number of large strategic projects, the CMI Manager will align multiple stakeholders, maintain social-media measurement frameworks and translate findings into clear recommendations and best-practice guidance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Shape and manage the global learning agenda for social-first media and content.
    Maintain and develop social-media measurement frameworks, KPIs and best-practice guidance.
    Partner with Global Media, Business Group teams, creative and media agencies, and platforms such as Meta and Amazon.
    Work with agency partners to ensure advertising accounts, platforms and measurement systems are correctly connected for effective campaign tracking and evaluation.
    Identify the metrics most likely to predict the return on investment of different engagement opportunities, including their contribution to brand building and sales.
    Use measurement and insights to identify opportunities for brands to engage consumers more effectively.
    Develop and share content best practice across established and emerging engagement opportunities.
    Support the development of tools and frameworks for social-first demand-generation agenda across media and content.
    Explore emerging technology in brand-engagement insights and work with specialist partners to develop and embed new measurement tools.
    Build understanding of how values and culture influence media and content-consumption behaviours.
    Translate complex findings into clear, compelling presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders.Key Skills and Experience

    Strong experience in at least one of the following areas:
    Client-side media insights or measurement.
    Media-platform experience, such as Meta or TikTok.
    Agency-side media measurement.
    A specialist media-measurement or insights function within an organisation
    Consumer and Market Insights experience involving social-first brand or media measurement.
    A good understanding of the social-media and content landscape, including how brands, agencies and platform partners work together to deliver and measure campaigns.
    Experience working with media KPIs, measurement frameworks and data-driven insights to evaluate campaign performance, brand impact, consumer engagement and return on investment.
    Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across multiple teams, functions and external partners.
    Strong communication, presentation and storytelling skills, including the ability to simplify complex measurement topics and present clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
    Strong project-management skills, with the ability to lead a small number of large strategic projects in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.
    Good analytical thinking and confidence interpreting data. Advanced analytics, modelling and highly technical Excel skills are not required.
    Collaborative, accountable and open-minded, with the ability to work effectively across marketing teams, agencies, media partners and technology platforms.
