Peace Recruitment is supporting a public-sector organisation seeking an experienced Senior Valuation Surveyor.
The successful candidate will take a lead role in delivering a significant asset valuation programme, working closely with internal property and finance teams to ensure valuations are completed accurately and within the required timescales. They will also support community asset transfers and provide advice on wayleaves and servitudes.
The role will involve:
* Leading a programme of property asset valuations
* Reviewing property data and maintaining accurate valuation records
* Supporting financial reporting and audit requirements
* Providing professional property and valuation advice
* Supporting community asset transfers
* Advising on wayleaves and servitudes
* Liaising with internal stakeholders and external auditors
* Supporting other general estates matters as required
We are looking for:
* Previous asset valuation experience within a local authority or similar public-sector environment
* Strong knowledge of valuations undertaken for financial accounts
* Experience of community asset transfers, wayleaves and servitudes
* MRICS qualification and/or RICS Registered Valuer status
* The ability to manage a valuation programme with minimal supervision
* Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills
