How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are recruiting on behalf of a highly supportive and well-established all-through SEND School in Kingston Upon Thames, catering for pupils from Primary through to Key Stage 5. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, therapists, or individuals looking to build a rewarding career within special education.
    No previous school-based SEN experience is required. The school provides ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development to help you succeed in the role.
    About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with a range of additional learning needs. You will help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
    Your responsibilities will include:

    Providing one-to-one and small group support to students
    Assisting pupils with learning, communication, and social development
    Supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties, and Complex Needs
    Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
    Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
    Helping to create a safe and nurturing learning environmentWhat We're Looking For We welcome applications from graduates and individuals who are:
