Senior Building Surveyor

The Role

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of professional and project-led building surveying services to an established client base.Key responsibilities will include:

Contract Administration duties under JCT contracts
Managing refurbishment, maintenance and improvement projects from inception to completion
Undertaking building surveys and preparing technical reports
Preparing specifications, schedules of works and tender documentation
Employer's Agent and project management duties where required
Defect diagnosis and providing practical solutions
Supporting clients across fire safety remediation and compliance projects
Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
Building and maintaining strong client relationshipsAbout You: The successful candidate will possess:

Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
Proven experience within a consultancy environment
Strong knowledge of JCT Contract Administration
Experience delivering projects within social housing, education, public sector, or fire safety sectors
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
