Well-established family-run main contractor is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing Building Services team in Peterborough.
You'll take the lead on preparing bids, tenders and estimates across commercial, retail and industrial projects ranging from £10k to £1M. It's a role with real breadth — as well as the estimating you'll get involved in running projects through quieter periods, so there's variety and progression on offer.
The role:
* Preparing accurate bids, tenders and estimates
* Interpreting drawings, specifications and scopes of works
* Analysing material and time calculations for electrical installations
* Negotiating quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
* Assessing project profitability and identifying risks
* Supporting project delivery during quieter estimating periods
What we're looking for:
* NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
* Proven experience as an electrical estimator in construction or building services
* Strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical installations
* Confident with drawings, tender documents and estimating software
* Full UK driving licence required
* Enhanced DBS required
The package:
* £50,000–£55,000
* Company vehicle or fuel allowance

* 21 days holiday, increasing with service
