How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Profile

We are seeking a Technical/Data Analyst to join our IT team supporting Trade and Transaction Reporting (TTR) within an investment banking environment.

The role would suit someone with strong technical analysis skills, a solid understanding of investment banking products and trade flows, and experience of regulatory reporting, data lineage, and data quality controls.

    Key Accountabilities:

Partner with business, compliance, operations, data governance, and technology teams to analyse and define TTR data requirements.
Identify and document critical data elements, business definitions, ownership, stewardship, and quality requirements across the TTR domain.
Document and maintain end-to-end data lineage across source systems, transformations, controls, and regulatory reporting outputs.
Support delivery of BCBS239-aligned improvements to data traceability, governance, reconciliation, and control effectiveness.
Investigate reporting and data quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support remediation of upstream and downstream control gaps.
Translate regulatory and business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
Maintain high-quality documentation in support of audits, governance reviews, and change delivery.
Work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver change across MiFID II, EMIR, and SFTR reporting processes.

    Skills & Experience:

Experience in a Technical Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst role within investment banking, capital markets, or regulatory reporting.
Strong understanding of trade lifecycle data, transaction flows, and regulatory reporting processes.
Knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, and SFTR reporting requirements.
Experience documenting data lineage, mappings, transformation logic, controls, and reconciliations.
Understanding of BCBS239 principles and their application to data governance and data quality.
Strong SQL and data analysis capability.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with metadata, lineage, or governance tooling would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in Jira/Confluence.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms or big data technologies.
Experience of database enquiry languages, i.e., PL/SQL (Oracle) so that data analysis can be performed based on requirements from relevant business parties.
