How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Head of Product | Health Tech Scale-up | London (Hybrid, 2-3 days) | £120,000 - £140,000 plus equity

We're working with a fast-growing health tech business at a genuinely pivotal point in its journey. They're building serious commercial momentum, moving from a concentrated client base toward a diversified enterprise portfolio, and they're looking for a Head of Product to lead that next chapter.

Let's be upfront about what this role is. It's hands-on first and leadership second. You'd come in as a senior individual contributor with a small product team beneath you, growing into leading that function properly as the business scales. If you want to set direction from a distance, this isn't it. If you want to build, ship and shape a product function from the front, it will suit you perfectly.

    What you'll own:

    • Product strategy and roadmap across the platform, with full end to end ownership
    • Bridging commercial and engineering, holding a healthy tension between the two
    • Balancing pace against the regulatory requirements that come with operating in health
    • Supporting enterprise sales, shaping product responses to client requirements and RFPs
    • Building out a lean, AI-first product operating model
    • Leading a small product team and growing into full ownership of the function

    Who you are:

    • Health tech experience, this one is non-negotiable
    • Currently operating at Principal, Staff, Head of or VP level within a startup or scale-up
    • A genuine doer with startup mentality, someone who executes rather than only strategises
    • Commercially sharp, with a real understanding of the urgency behind winning enterprise deals
    • Experienced delivering product in a regulated environment without losing momentum
    • Enough gravitas to command a room and challenge technical decisions credibly
    • Comfortable with ambiguity around team structure in the near term
    • US market understanding useful but not essential

If you're a Builder who wants real ownership and a stake in where the business ends up, this is worth exploring.
