How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

An established international luxury brand is seeking a Junior HR Business Partner to join its London-based HR team, supporting its UK Retail, Hospitality and operational populations.

This is a broad, hands-on HRBP position offering exposure across the full employee lifecycle within a fast-paced, international luxury environment.

The London office acts as the Global HQ and plays an important role in developing and driving global people initiatives, working alongside regional HR teams across the international business.

The Junior HRBP will act as a dedicated partner to a predominantly frontline UK population across retail stores and hospitality operations, while also providing support to the Senior HR team across the UK Head Office population.

    The Role

The Junior HRBP will be fully immersed across the HR lifecycle, acting as a hands-on partner to managers across the UK business.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Partnering with managers across UK Retail, Hospitality and other operational functions.
    • Supporting the Senior HR team with people initiatives and transformation projects.
    • Managing employee relations cases at the appropriate level and escalating complex or high-risk cases where necessary.
    • Conducting and supporting investigations, ensuring advice remains legally compliant.
    • Coaching and appropriately challenging managers to develop their people-management capability.
    • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance management and talent processes.
    • Supporting annual performance and development review cycles.
    • Delivering HR training to UK managers and employees.
    • Supporting annual compensation and reward processes.
    • Supporting the monthly payroll process.
    • Managing maternity leave, sickness absence risk assessments, return-to-work plans and associated administration.
    • Working with external providers where appropriate.
    • Collecting and analysing HR data to identify trends and support business decision-making.
    • Supporting HRIS data management and wider HR projects.
    • Leading or supporting HR projects from inception through to delivery.
    • Collaborating closely with HR Administration, HRIS, Payroll & Benefits, Talent Acquisition and other specialist HR functions.

    Key Experience

    Candidates should demonstrate:

    • Hands-on Employee Relations experience, including investigations and case management.
    • Experience supporting and advising line managers directly.
    • Good knowledge of UK employment practices.
    • Broad exposure across the employee lifecycle.
    • Strong HR administration and organisational capability.
    • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and employee populations.
    • Ability to balance ER/casework with projects and wider people initiatives.
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Commercial awareness and an understanding of the needs of frontline managers.
  • Preferred Background

Previous experience within luxury/premium retail, hospitality, private members' clubs, hotels, restaurants or other premium consumer-facing environments would be particularly relevant.

Previous customer-facing experience within retail or hospitality would also be highly desirable.

Experience using major HR systems and data-analysis tools would be advantageous, as would a CIPD qualification or someone currently working towards one.

    The Ideal Profile

    Why Consider the Opportunity?

    • Opportunity to develop your HRBP career within an internationally recognised luxury environment.
    • Dedicated ownership of UK employee populations.
    • Exposure across Retail, Hospitality, operational functions and Head Office.
    • International HR exposure within a Global HQ environment.
    • Broad remit across ER, talent, reward, payroll, projects and analytics.
    • Close exposure to a senior HR leadership team.
    • Excellent platform for progression into a broader HR Business Partner position.

Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. We thank all applicants for their interest in the position.
