How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A growing construction consultancy in London is seeking a capable Project Manager to join its established team. The successful Project Manager will work primarily on commercial developments, alongside a smaller portfolio of hotel projects.

The Project Manager will deliver smaller projects with guidance from senior colleagues and assist directors with larger, more complex schemes. The successful Project Manager will gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, strengthen their client-facing experience and receive structured support towards RICS chartership. The consultancy recently supported another Project Manager through chartership, demonstrating its commitment to professional development.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will manage commercial and hotel projects from initial briefing through to completion. Responsibilities will include preparing programmes, coordinating design teams, managing project documentation and monitoring progress against agreed cost, quality and time objectives.

The Project Manager will attend and chair meetings, maintain risk and action registers, support procurement processes and provide clear updates to clients. On larger schemes, the Project Manager will work closely with directors, helping to coordinate consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.

As the successful candidate develops, they will be encouraged to take greater ownership of commissions, strengthen client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the consultancy.

    The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

Previous project management experience within a construction consultancy
Experience working on commercial, office or hotel developments
The ability to deliver smaller projects with appropriate senior support
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related construction discipline
Progress towards MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or another relevant professional qualification
A good understanding of construction procurement, contracts and project delivery
Strong communication, organisation and client-facing skills
A proactive and commercially aware approach

    In Return?

    The Project Manager will receive:

    £48,000-£55,000
    Structured support towards RICS chartership
    Direct guidance from experienced directors
Exposure to commercial and hotel projects
    Increasing responsibility for project delivery
    Clear opportunities for career progression
    Ongoing training and professional development
