How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    THE ROLE
    As an Experienced Bodyshop Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of the accident repair centre. You will lead and develop the team, manage workshop workflow and productivity, maintain excellent customer relationships, and ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest manufacturer and industry standards.

    Key Responsibilities:
    ·Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the bodyshop, driving productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
    ·Manage, motivate, and develop Workshop Controllers, Vehicle Damage Assessors, Technicians, and support staff.
    ·Monitor workshop KPIs, vehicle throughput, repair quality, productivity, and operational performance.
    ·Build strong relationships with customers, insurers, manufacturers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
    ·Ensure all repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer repair methods, company procedures, and quality standards.
    ·Oversee workflow, resource planning, staffing levels, and workshop capacity to maximise performance.
    ·Maintain excellent Health & Safety standards and ensure the workshop operates in a safe and professional manner.
    ·Identify opportunities for continuous improvement while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

    ABOUT YOU
    We're looking for an experienced, commercially aware, and results-focused Bodyshop Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing an accident repair centre or busy automotive bodyshop.

    You will ideally have:
    ·Previous experience as a Bodyshop Manager, Accident Repair Centre Manager, Bodyshop Operations Manager, or Workshop Manager.
    ·Strong understanding of automotive accident repair processes and manufacturer repair standards.
    ·Proven experience managing workshop productivity, KPIs, quality, and operational performance.
    ·Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
    ·Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    ·Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing operational priorities.
    ·Excellent organisation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
    ·Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced accident repair environment.

    Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
