Junior Site Manager
We are currently working with an established fit-out contractor who is looking to appoint a Junior Site Manager to join their growing delivery team in Poole.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager or Junior Site Manager looking to progress their career within fit out and refurbishment.
You will work alongside an experienced project team, supporting the day-to-day management of projects and helping ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the day-to-day management of fit-out projects.
* Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.
* Monitor programme and ensure works are progressing to schedule.
* Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.
* Maintain high standards of health & safety across site.
* Monitor workmanship and quality throughout the project.
* Assist with snagging and project handovers.
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team.
* Maintain accurate site records and progress reports.
* Support the Site/Project Manager with the overall delivery of projects.
Requirements
* Previous experience within fit out, refurbishment or interiors.
* Experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Junior Site Manager or Site Supervisor.
* Good understanding of construction programmes and site processes.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage day-to-day site activities.
* Ambitious and looking to progress into a fully-fledged Site Manager position.
* SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid advantageous.
