How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Financial Services Administrator
    Location: North Norwich
    Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
    Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
    Working Hours: Initially 9am–5pm, with flexible working available once training is completed
    Contract: Permanent
    *Hybrid working after probation, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home*
    Atkinson Moss are working with an established and growing financial planning business to recruit an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join their Client Services Team.
    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience within financial services administration who is looking to join a successful business and develop their career within a supportive team.
    You'll provide day to day administrative support across the business, helping to deliver a high level of service to clients and supporting Financial Advisers with the smooth running of their portfolios and client relationships.
    The role is varied and will involve working across general administration, client support, adviser support, reporting, new business and investment processing.
    Key Responsibilities
    * Managing incoming and outgoing post, including scanning, filing and franking.
    * Answering calls and dealing with client queries.
    * Updating task management and back-office systems.
    * Welcoming visitors and providing a professional client experience.
    * Managing adviser appointments and diaries.
    * Requesting and collating client and plan information.
    * Assisting with client meeting preparation.
    * Preparing client letters, illustrations and other documentation.
    * Liaising with clients and financial product providers.
    * Producing and sending portfolio reports to clients.
    * Preparing review documentation for Financial Advisers.
    * Preparing fund performance information.
    * Processing pension and investment applications online.
    * Buying and selling trades through investment platforms.
    * Processing client income requirements.
    * Completing fund switches through investment platforms.
    * Checking and confirming completion of trades.
    * Supporting medical underwriting applications for life cover.
    You'll ideally have:
    * Experience within financial services administration.
    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    * Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
    * Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
    * A professional and patient approach when dealing with clients.
