How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Daily Supply Teaching Assistant
    Location: Bromley, South London
    Salary: £85–£100 per day
    Contract: Part-time, ongoing temporary supply
    Available from: 1 September 2026

    Salary is based on experience and qualifications. Higher rates apply to candidates with significant experience and/or qualifications.
    Transparency Education is looking for experienced Teaching Assistants for flexible daily supply work across primary schools in Bromley. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy variety, can adapt quickly and want greater control over their working week.
    Key responsibilities
    • Support pupils and class teachers across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
    • Follow the class teacher’s instructions and established school routines.
    • Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning.
    • Support positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
    • Adapt quickly to different classes, year groups and school environments.
    • Follow each school’s safeguarding, behaviour and confidentiality procedures.

    Requirements
    • Recent experience supporting children in a primary school or comparable setting.
    • A flexible, dependable and professional approach.
    • Confidence entering new environments and building rapport quickly.
    • Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
    • The ability to travel reliably to schools in and around BR2.
    • A relevant teaching-assistant qualification is desirable.
