How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Advertisement: Disclosure Reviewer (Economic Crime)

    Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge in the legal field? Our client is seeking motivated and detail oriented Disclosure Reviewer's to join their dynamic team! If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for justice, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

    Start ASAP, duration 6 months, pay £18ph PAYE, hours Monday-Friday full time hours, this is a fully remote role. However, the successful candidates will be required to fly to Jersey to collect laptops on the first day, flight and accommodation cost will be covered. Please note the successful candidate will be required to go through clearance ahead of starting.

    Job Purpose
    As a Disclosure Reviewer, you will play a vital role in the investigative process by reviewing, analysing, and describing material generated during criminal investigations. Your contributions will ensure that crucial information is accurately assessed and handled in compliance with legal standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Review allocated materials to describe their relevance and determine if they qualify as used or unused material in prosecution cases.
    Handle all materials in accordance with relevant legal provisions, particularly those that may be privileged or subject to data protection.
    Make informed decisions for legal advisers regarding unused material that could impact the prosecution or assist the defendant's case.
    Uphold the standards outlined in the Official Secrets (Jersey) Law 1957, ensuring sensitive information is managed appropriately.Statutory Responsibilities:

    Engage actively and comply with all statutory responsibilities applicable to the role, adapting as necessary.Person Specification:

    Desirable Qualifications:

    Investigation 1 and 2 certifications.Knowledge:

    Understanding of financial crime offences, including corruption, fraud, and money laundering in both England and Wales and Jersey.
    Experience working within the criminal justice system or law enforcement is a plus.Technical Skills:

    Ability to review large volumes of complex materials and clearly describe their evidential value.
    Experience using e-Discovery software, such as OpenText Axcelerate, to analyse extensive data sets.General Skills:

    Strong analytical skills to digest large volumes of material effectively.
