How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a nurturing, inclusive school environment?

We are working in partnership with a Primary SEND school, a warm and welcoming school at the heart of its community, to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to start in September. This is an exciting opportunity to join a setting where children are supported to feel safe, valued and inspired to achieve their very best.

    About the School

The school is a highly inclusive primary school catering for children aged 3–11, with a strong commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND provision across dedicated specialist classes.

The school prides itself on nurturing the whole child—academically, socially and emotionally—creating confident, resilient learners ready for life beyond the classroom.

    The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (including opportunities within SEND provision)

Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons

Provide 1:1 and small group support where required

Help create a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment

Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development

    The Ideal Candidate

Experience working with children in a school or similar setting

A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach

Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs (desirable)

    Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

    Why Apply?

Join a supportive and community-focused school

Be part of an inclusive environment where every child is valued

Opportunity to develop your skills across a range of age groups and needs

    Competitive daily rate of £100–£106

If you’re ready to take the next step in your education career and contribute to a school that truly puts children at the centre of everything it does, we’d love to hear from you. Apply Today
