How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Manager – Bespoke Joinery & Interiors

    Location: Berkshire
    Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE
    Working Hours: Monday – Friday
    Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required

    The Opportunity

    Oval Deene Recruitment are working exclusively with an established and highly regarded business specialising in bespoke joinery, cabinetry and high-end interiors, who are looking to appoint a Project Manager to join their growing team in Berkshire.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager, or someone with relevant industry experience who is looking to progress their career into project management.

    The business is willing to provide training and development to the right person, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in bespoke joinery, cabinetry, furniture, interiors or a related environment who is ready to take the next step in their career.

    The successful candidate will be involved in managing projects from initial brief through to completion, working closely with clients, designers, suppliers, workshop teams and installers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest possible standard.

    The Role

    As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple bespoke projects simultaneously, coordinating every stage from initial design and production through to delivery and installation.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Managing projects from initial brief through to final completion.

    Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

    Coordinating with designers, workshop teams, suppliers, contractors and installers.

    Producing and maintaining project programmes and schedules.

    Monitoring project budgets, costs and timelines.

    Managing procurement and liaising with suppliers.

    Reviewing drawings and specifications and ensuring projects are delivered accurately to the agreed brief.

    Coordinating site visits, deliveries and installations.

    Identifying potential issues or delays and proactively resolving them.

    Maintaining clear and accurate project documentation.

    Ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained.

    Managing client expectations and providing regular project updates.

    Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a seamless client experience.

    About You

    We are looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and passionate about delivering high-quality projects.

    Previous experience in project management would be advantageous, but the client is also open to candidates looking to step up into a Project Management position.

    You may currently be working within:

    Bespoke joinery

    Cabinet making

    Furniture manufacturingLuxury interiors

    Kitchen or bedroom deign

    Production or workshop management

    Site or installation management

    Construction or related sectors

    You will ideally have:

    Strong organisational and time-management skills.

    Excellent communication and client-management abilities.

    Strong attention to detail.

    The ability to manage multiple priorities.

    Good commercial awareness.

    The ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

    A proactive approach to problem-solving.

    Good IT and administrative skills.

    A professional and personable approach.

    A full UK driving licence.

    Training & Career Development
