Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and welcoming school in the Corby area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic education professional looking to take on additional responsibility and play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and senior leaders to support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. You will be responsible for delivering planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff, leading small group interventions, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons and provide classroom cover when required.

Support the planning and delivery of high-quality learning activities.

Lead intervention sessions with individuals and small groups.

Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.

Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN.

Promote positive behaviour and contribute to an inclusive school environment.

Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents and external professionals.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

HLTA status or relevant qualifications and experience.

Previous experience working within a school setting.

Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable.

A proactive, adaptable and positive approach to education.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
