Class 2 Driver – Peterborough
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client, a busy retail company based in Peterborough.
Requirements – Mandatory & Non-Negotiable
* Minimum 3 years’ Class 2 driving experience
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Valid Driver CPC
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card
* Physically fit and able to handball and lift heavy loads
* Reliable and flexible approach to working hours
Working Hours
* 40 hours per week guaranteed
* Any 5 days out of 7, including weekends
* Morning starts
Salary
£15-16.50 per hour, depending on experience and holiday preferences
The Role
Working for a busy retail company, you will be responsible for delivering goods to businesses and private customers.
The role involves more than just driving. You will also be required to load and unload vehicles, handball goods, and carry out physical work, including lifting heavier items when required.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Class 2 Driver who is physically fit, reliable, hardworking and comfortable with the manual aspects of the role.
We are offering a new starter bonus of £200 which is paid after 20 shifts. We also offer referral bonuses of £150 per person you refer (also payable after 20 shifts worked).
