How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) | Cladding Remediation | Central London

    The Company

We are working in partnership with one of the UK's leading main contractors, a highly respected business with a strong presence across the southeast.

With over 25 years of successful project delivery, the company has established long-standing relationships with key clients, securing a significant order book and a robust pipeline of work across multiple sectors.

This opportunity sits within a well-established London and South division, specialising in refurbishment, remediation, retrofit and building safety projects. Their diverse portfolio includes residential developments, student accommodation and large-scale regeneration schemes delivered for local authorities, housing associations and private sector clients.

Supported by an experienced and highly regarded leadership team, the business has built a reputation for delivering complex projects to the highest standards while maintaining a collaborative and people-focused culture.

    The Role

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join their team on a permanent basis, supporting the delivery of major cladding remediation projects across Central London.

As the key link between residents, site teams and project stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in ensuring residents are kept informed, supported and engaged throughout the duration of the works. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering exceptional customer service within a construction environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Act as the primary point of contact for residents before, during and after project works.

    * Build positive and professional relationships with residents, responding to enquiries and resolving concerns efficiently.

    * Carry out resident profiling, needs assessments and satisfaction surveys.

    * Organise and attend resident consultations, meetings, open days and community engagement events.

    * Coordinate access arrangements to facilitate project delivery while minimising disruption.

    * Provide regular updates to residents regarding programme milestones, project progress and upcoming works.

    * Work closely with site teams and project managers to ensure resident issues are communicated and addressed effectively.

    * Maintain accurate records of resident communications, complaints and actions taken in line with company procedures.

    About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

    * Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or in a customer-facing role within construction, refurbishment, maintenance or social housing.

    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.

    * Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with attention to detail.

    * A professional, empathetic and solutions-focused approach when dealing with sensitive situations.

    * Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

    * The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    What's on Offer

    * Permanent position with a market-leading contractor.

    * Long-term pipeline of secured work across London and the South East.

    * Opportunity to work on high-profile building safety and remediation projects.

    * Supportive team environment and strong leadership.

    * Competitive salary and benefits package.

    * Excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.

If you're an experienced Resident Liaison Officer looking to join a reputable contractor with a strong order book and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects, we'd love to hear from you
