How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Inspector (PC-DMIS) - Motorsport Contract Opportunity

    Location: Motorsport Industry
    Contract: Rolling Contract
    Start Date: November 2026
    Rate: Competitive Contract Rate
    A prestigious motorsport organisation is seeking an experienced Inspector with PC-DMIS expertise to join its quality team on a contract basis from November. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a world-class engineering environment, supporting the production of precision components used in elite motorsport applications.

    Responsibilities

    Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using PC-DMIS software to inspect complex precision-engineered components.
    Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to verify dimensional conformity.
    Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections of machined and assembled parts.
    Record, analyse, and report measurement data, ensuring components meet strict tolerance requirements.
    Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
    Maintain accurate inspection records and support continuous improvement activities across the department.

    Requirements

    Proven experience as an Inspector within a precision engineering, automotive, aerospace, or motorsport environment.
    Strong working knowledge of PC-DMIS and CMM programming/operation.
    Excellent understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
    Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documentation.
    High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced, high-performance team.

    Desirable Experience

    Experience using additional metrology equipment such as height gauges, micrometers, verniers, and surface finish testers.
    Familiarity with ISO quality standards and controlled documentation processes.
    Previous experience within a high-performance motorsport or advanced manufacturing environment.
