Location: NW1

Duration: 3+months

Payrate: £30-32 PH

Time: 8 / 10 HOURS A DAY, MON - FRI

Job Duties:
The role involves the installation of carbon steel and stainless-steel pipework systems using welded, screwed, and flanged jointing methods. The Pipefitter will work on major commercial, healthcare, industrial and public-sector projects, installing pipework associated with heat pumps, energy centres, plate heat exchangers, boilers, thermal stores, chilled water systems and associated mechanical plant. Install Pre-Fabricated Welded Carbon Pipework & Screwed Pipework.

Qualification:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Pipefitter within commercial, industrial or energy infrastructure projects.
Experience installing large-bore carbon steel and stainless-steel pipework.
Competent in screwed pipework systems.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
Experience working within energy centres, boiler houses, plantrooms or district heating schemes.
Knowledge of LTHW, MTHW, CHW, DHW and process pipework systems.
Strong understanding of mechanical installation practices and tolerances.
Ability to work independently and as part of a site installation team.
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Services, Pipefitting or equivalent.
CSCS Skilled Worker Card.
