We are seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers to join well-established manufacturing companies based in Redditch.

These roles present excellent opportunities for mechanically minded individuals with experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, engineering, or hands-on manufacturing. Depending on your expertise, you may work within a workshop environment on specialist mechanical assemblies or alongside experienced Mechanical Fitters on generator construction.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

Assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies
Working from technical drawings, build instructions, and specifications
Using a variety of hand and power tools
Collaborating with experienced Mechanical Fitters
Assembling mechanical parts for specialist equipment and generators
Conducting quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
Utilising measuring equipment where necessary
Adhering to production schedules and deadlines
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workplace
Complying with all health, safety, and quality procedures

Candidate Profile

Interpreting technical drawings

Production Operative with strong mechanical experience

Strong practical and mechanical skills are essential.

Working Hours

Various shift patterns are available:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
Friday: 8:00am – 2:45pm
OR
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 12:00pm
