How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Carry out the safe loading and unloading of equipment and vehicles using appropriate methods and equipment.

Complete equipment inspections and condition checks on all machines received on site.

Maintain accurate records of all equipment movements, including receipts and dispatches.

Support workshop operations through efficient stock-picking and parts supply activities.

Identify and report shipment discrepancies, completing the necessary documentation and escalating issues where required.

Maintain stock locations and inventory systems to ensure efficient and accurate stock control.

Support equipment stock audits and inventory checks.

Conduct pre-delivery visual inspections to ensure equipment meets customer specifications and quality standards.

Complete allocated tasks efficiently and accurately to minimise workshop downtime and maximise productivity.

Carry out battery charging and maintenance activities on electric equipment to ensure operational readiness.

Provide support for out-of-hours call-outs when required.

What Will Help You Excel in This Role

Experience using computer systems, including Microsoft Excel and stock control or logistics management systems.

Previous experience loading and unloading vehicles using a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) or similar equipment.

A strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices and procedures.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and support wider operational activities.

What You Can Expect From Us

Ongoing training, development and career progression opportunities.

Contributory pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 6%.

Profit-share bonus linked to business performance.

Paycare and Eyecare health benefits scheme.

Access to a range of high street and lifestyle discounts.

The opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative team within a successful and growing organisation.
