How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: Leicester
    Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Depending on Experience
    Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
    Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm

    THE ROLE
    As an Experienced Multi-Skilled Panel Beater, you'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality accident repairs, structural and cosmetic panel work, and associated bodyshop repairs. Your ability to work across multiple repair disciplines will make you a key member of the production team, helping ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently and returned to customers to the highest possible standard.

    Key Responsibilities:
    ·Carry out accident damage repairs in accordance with manufacturer repair methods and industry standards
    ·Complete panel beating, panel replacement, straightening, alignment and structural repairs
    ·Carry out welding and fabrication where required using appropriate repair methods
    ·Assess damage and identify additional repair requirements during the repair process
    ·Work closely with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, Preppers, Estimators and Workshop Controllers
    ·Ensure all repairs are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed repair times
    ·Protect vehicles throughout the repair process and maintain excellent workshop housekeeping
    ·Follow Health & Safety, COSHH, manufacturer and bodyshop quality procedures at all times

    ABOUT YOU
    We're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Panel Beater with strong accident repair experience and the ability to produce consistently high-quality workmanship.
    ·Extensive experience as a Panel Beater within an accident repair or bodyshop environment
    ·Strong knowledge of modern vehicle body repair techniques
    ·Confident carrying out panel replacement, repair, alignment, welding and structural repairs
    ·Ability to work from manufacturer repair methods and industry standards
    ·Experience working to production times, KPIs and quality standards
    ·Strong attention to detail and commitment to first-class workmanship
    ·Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a professional team
    ·Strong work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude
    ·IMI and/or ATA qualification is advantageous
    ·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
