How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Collibra Integration Engineer – Canary Wharf - London | Data Management

    £430/day INSIDE IR35

    6 month contract

Hybrid - Canary Wharf - 3 days per week onsite.

A This is your opportunity to join a high-calibre data management team at a leading financial institution in London, where your technical expertise will sit at the heart of an enterprise-wide data governance programme.

    What you will be doing
Working within a fast-paced development group, you will take ownership of the operational engineering activities that keep a critical enterprise platform running at its best. From managing connectivity and troubleshooting incidents to coordinating across application, ETL, and DBA teams, you will be the technical anchor that holds cross-functional delivery together. You will produce clear documentation, lead root-cause analyses, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for both technical and business audiences.

    What we are looking for
You will bring solid hands-on experience in platform administration or IT engineering, a firm grounding in relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server, and a natural comfort navigating the full cycle of change, incident, and problem management. You communicate with confidence, stay composed under pressure, and take genuine pride in the detail and accuracy of your work.
Exposure to the Collibra ecosystem — including DIP, CDQ, EDGE, or the Lineage Harvester — would be a real advantage, as would familiarity with REST APIs, Python, or data integration environments. That said, a sharp analytical mind and a genuine appetite for learning will carry considerable weight in this selection process.

    Why this role?
This is a position with real technical scope and cross-organisational visibility. You will work alongside a collaborative team that values integrity, precision, and continuous improvement — and you will have the autonomy to take ownership of your technical domain from day one.
Occasional out-of-hours support for releases or critical incidents may be required.
Graduate-level education is expected; a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.

Ready to bring your platform engineering expertise to a role that genuinely matters? Apply now.
