We are recruiting for an experienced DevSecOps / Software Factory Engineer to support a major programme within the UK defence sector.
The role will focus on the development and continuous improvement of a Software Factory used to support the delivery of next-generation software products. You will work within an Agile engineering team, developing solutions and capabilities that enable modern, efficient software development through DevSecOps and cloud computing services.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement solutions for the Software Factory
Work within an Agile team alongside the Scrum Master and Product Owner
Support developers with design, development and code reviews
Support software integration and product testing
Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevSecOps approaches and processes
Support downstream product integration within secure, air-gapped environments
Skills & Experience
We are looking for candidates with experience in areas such as:
DevSecOps / DevOps engineering
Software development and delivery environments
CI/CD and development tooling
Cloud computing / cloud-ready environments
Software integration and testing
Agile delivery
Designing and implementing technical solutions
Secure or air-gapped environments would be highly advantageous
Desirable:
Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Technology or Science
Membership of a professional engineering institution recognised by the Engineering Council
Working towards IEng or CEng professional registration
