TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Year 9 to Year 13 secondary school in Frome. The school is looking for a passionate Music Technology Teacher to join its established Music Department, working alongside an experienced full-time teacher.
The successful Music Technology Teacher will join the school from September 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter, with full-time, part-time, temporary and permanent arrangements considered. The role has a strong emphasis on Music Technology, including delivering Edexcel GCSE and A Level Music Technology and NCFE Level 2 Music Technology, alongside Music across KS3, GCSE and Eduqas A Level.
The successful Music Technology Teacher will have:
• QTS with a relevant Music or Music Technology specialism
• Experience teaching Music Technology, ideally including Edexcel GCSE and A Level
• Experience delivering Music across KS3, KS4 and/or KS5
• Strong knowledge of Music Technology and the ability to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for Music and Music Technology with strong communication and collaborative working skills
